I received the following email:Do you have an friend or family member with an interesting career?! Do you think they would be willing to come to Woodland for a few hours and talk to 4th and 5th graders about their work? If so, please pass along this information to them and have them contact me if interested! I’m looking to fill 5 more spots! J
The Career Fair will be held on April 26th from 11:30-12:30 and will require about 1.5 hours of commitment with any set-up/tear down time you require. A brief overview of what our career fair will look like this year if you choose to volunteer: We will have all of our professionals in the gym representing each of their individual displays. We encourage you to bring visuals and anything else that may be able to showcase your career and role. Wi-fi is available as well as outlets for electronics if needed. Students will be coming in one grade at a time in partners to interview you about your job, so no formal presentation is needed for you to prepare. Though, you will be provided a copy of their interview questions to give you an idea of what they will be asking. Students will have time to go around to multiple professionals during their time to maximize their learning experience. Here are the careers we already have lined up—no duplicates please!

Ms. BedfordI have been teaching for 22 years. When not at school, I enjoy traveling, knitting, and getting together with family and friends. My cat Gilmore brings me laughter with her silly antics. It is a joy to watch children learn and grow during the school year! Archives
