Fall is here and the cold weather is headed our way! That means students will need hats, mittens or gloves, jackets or coats, boots, and snow pants. Please be sure to label ALL clothing items with your child's name. You can imagine how many pairs of black snow pants we have in the building. Small items get dropped easily and if your child's name is on it we have a better chance of finding it. Thank you for your help!

Did you know we have a class giving tree link? Look under the "more" tab in the blog and you will find items that our class can use. If you are willing and able to donate items to the classroom, we would greatly appreciate it!
Currently we are in need of small water cups (such as Dixie brand). We can use either the 3 or 5 oz. size. Thank you for your generosity! The first week of school, we began to discuss our Hopes and Dreams for our kindergarten year. During the second week of school, each child picked Hopes and Dreams for the year. We colored our Hopes and Dreams on a balloon. Then, we brought home a letter and sun so parents could write their Hopes and Dreams for your child this year. We have all shared our Hopes and Dreams during our morning meeting time. I have also shared your Hopes and Dreams during this time. I am happy to announce they are up on our wall! We will keep them up all year long so we can use them. They are a visual reminder for us. Please talk with your child about how they are going to make their Hopes and Dreams come true this year!

Ms. BedfordI have been teaching for 22 years. When not at school, I enjoy traveling, knitting, and getting together with family and friends. My cat Gilmore brings me laughter with her silly antics. It is a joy to watch children learn and grow during the school year! Archives
