Our class created their own classroom rules. First, we brainstormed a list of rules. Then, we grouped similar rules together. Next, we worked on phrasing each rule. Finally, we agreed upon the rules. To show that we support the rules and will follow then, we signed the rules on Constitution Day. Ask your child about the rules. They should be able to tell you the rules, as well as what the rules should look like, sound like, and feel like when scholars are following them.

Ms. BedfordI have been teaching for 22 years. When not at school, I enjoy traveling, knitting, and getting together with family and friends. My cat Gilmore brings me laughter with her silly antics. It is a joy to watch children learn and grow during the school year! Archives
