We are in our third math unit. The unit is titled "Teen Numbers as Tens and Ones." We began by exploring numbers as groups of tens and some ones. We looked at how two partners or addends make a sum when added together. As the unit goes on, we will explore 2- and 3-Dimensional shapes, graphing, and subtraction. Tuesday and Thursday homework sheets should be an easy review of the concepts we have already learned in class. You can also have your child practice writing their numbers (with no reversals). Ask your child all about teen numbers!

Ms. BedfordI have been teaching for 22 years. When not at school, I enjoy traveling, knitting, and getting together with family and friends. My cat Gilmore brings me laughter with her silly antics. It is a joy to watch children learn and grow during the school year! Archives
