The class is learning about sentence writing. We are practicing writing strong sentences. The students are adding adjectives (describing words) before nouns. We are also giving more details (the where, when, & why). Students should be writing strong sentences in all their writing. We are focusing on opinion writing right now, but want to transfer this into all our learning. A good way to practice is to write one strong sentence every day. It may be about the book you are reading, or about your math homework. It could be about a fun family activity or anything else. Happy Writing!

Ms. BedfordI have been teaching for 22 years. When not at school, I enjoy traveling, knitting, and getting together with family and friends. My cat Gilmore brings me laughter with her silly antics. It is a joy to watch children learn and grow during the school year! Archives
