The students are learning how to tell and write time to the hour. We are practicing throughout our day by looking at our analog clock, writing the digital time, and identifying the hour and minute hands. You can do the same at home with your child.
We are also measuring items with non-standard units of measurement. This week, we are measuring our Woody the Eagle stuffed animal. We have used chain links, discs, and teddy bear counters so far. We are learning how to be precise in our measurements and are making estimates before we measure. What can you measure at home?
