Yesterday, we celebrated Unity Day with the entire Woodland community! It was fun to see everyone proudly wearing their orange. The class created their own acrostic poem with the word UNITED. We discussed what it meant to be united and how to stand together in our learning and friendships. The afternoon brought us outside and to the letter D. We stood and waved as an airplane flew over us and the entire school and took our picture. The day ended with two 6th graders leading us in some team building activities.

Ms. BedfordI have been teaching for 22 years. When not at school, I enjoy traveling, knitting, and getting together with family and friends. My cat Gilmore brings me laughter with her silly antics. It is a joy to watch children learn and grow during the school year! Archives
