We have begun a new science unit! The focus is on Wood and Paper. We are beginning with learning about wood. The children are observing, experimenting, and writing about wood. Then, we will focus on paper. The students will be doing more learning activities with paper. This ties in with our reading comprehension strategy: Compare and Contrast. We will be taking the strategy and using it in science to compare and contrast wood and paper. |

This makes sense now... Nora this weekend was talking about what happens when wood gets wet. They way she inserted it into our conversation but it very random but she did say she learned it in school. :)

Ms. BedfordI have been teaching for 22 years. When not at school, I enjoy traveling, knitting, and getting together with family and friends. My cat Gilmore brings me laughter with her silly antics. It is a joy to watch children learn and grow during the school year! Archives
